Il sipario si è abbassato sulla notte degli attesissimi Game Awards 2023, e con esso, sono stati svelati i vincitori di una serata che ha tenuto incollati gli appassionati di videogiochi per oltre tre emozionanti ore. Come da tradizione, il culmine della serata è stato l’annuncio del Gioco dell’Anno da parte di Geoff Keighley. Senza ulteriori indugi, scopriamo insieme chi si è aggiudicato il premio più ambito e chi sono i vincitori nelle varie categorie.
Il protagonista indiscusso della serata è stato Baldur’s Gate 3, il gioco di ruolo epico di Larian Studios, che ha trionfato come il Game of the Year. I talentuosi ragazzi belgi non si sono accontentati solo di questo riconoscimento prestigioso ma hanno portato a casa ben cinque premi, dimostrando la loro maestria in categorie come Best Performance, Best RPG, Best Community Support, Best Multiplayer e Players’ Voice.
Tuttavia, la notte non è stata solo loro. I finlandesi di Remedy hanno fatto il loro ritorno a casa con tre premi di rilievo per Alan Wake 2, inclusi Best Game Direction, Best Narrative e Best Art Direction. Un trionfo che ha lasciato il segno.
Sfortunatamente, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 non ha visto brillare le sue stelle, non portandosi a casa alcuna statuetta. Sony, tuttavia, ha trovato conforto nel premio Best Adaptation per la serie TV di The Last of Us.
Le esclusive Microsoft e Nintendo hanno avuto il loro momento di gloria, con tre premi ciascuna. Microsoft con Forza Motorsport (Best Sports/Racing e Innovation in Accessibility) e Hi-Fi Rush (Best Audio Design), e Nintendo con Super Mario Bros. Wonder (Best Family), Pikmin 4 (Best Strategy Game) e The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom (Best Action/Adventure).
